About Us

Elizabeth Bittner and Nicole Widdis are a team of personal, professional attorneys with over 20 years of combined experience.
Our firm practices family law, family law appeals, bankruptcy and estate planning.

Over 20 Years of Experience

With over 20 years of combined legal experience, you can be confident that you are hiring a firm that is familiar with the ins and outs of the family court. We will represent you in front of many of the same people that we have worked for, and with, for years prior to opening our own practices.

Personal and Professional

Family law, estates and bankruptcy are about personal issues that require professional advice. Every person and family are unique. What you are facing now might be exciting or challenging, a beginning or an end. No matter what, it is personal to you and it is important to us. We will take the time for you to share. We listen, address your individual concerns, and give you our professional advice.

Strategy and Advice

We cannot predict or promise any particular result in your case. However, after listening to you and hearing about your situation, we can give you our informed opinion regarding the possible outcome of your case and suggest strategy based on our significant legal experience.

About the Firm

Elizabeth and Nicole previously worked together for several years as private practice associate attorneys, and later ran their own successful law firms. With the shared goal of creating a firm culture centered on competence and approachability, Elizabeth and Nicole decided to join their respective strengths and complimentary styles to create Bittner & Widdis.

Our team of experienced and personable paralegals are top notch and work closely with Nicole and Elizabeth to keep clients informed of the status and action items in their cases. Our firm’s adaptability and technology help our clients more easily maneuver changing rules and uncertain economic and legal climates, while also helping to mitigate litigation costs. Our office is located in the charming Southwest Professional Complex in the heart of old Southwest Reno.

Integrity and Honesty

The best advice is honest advice. You can trust that we will not lie about the strengths and weaknesses of your case simply to gain your business. Instead, we discuss with you the facts of your case and your goals. We then use our experience to honestly explain your options moving forward. We will explore various approaches and the potential risks and benefits of each approach.

Testimonials

Disclaimer: Testimonials on this website are actual client reviews of our attorneys. We appreciate our clients and their willingness to share their experiences. Please keep in mind, the success of any legal matter depends on the unique circumstances of each case. We cannot guarantee particular results for future clients based on successes we have achieved in past matters.
